The Samarkand brewery was founded in 1885 as the first brewery in Central Asia.

It was built with the money of the entrepreneur Otto Wogau, using authentic Czech technology. Even today, when you enter the old fermentation rooms, rooms and cellars for maturing beer, you will not be able to understand where you are – in Samarkand, Brno, Pilsen or Prague…

We are the only one among the large breweries in Uzbekistan who produces genuine Czech Pilsner: beer with a rich hop aroma and taste.

Tourists from the Czech Republic admit that in a blind tasting they would not distinguish Pulsar from other Czech beers.

Our ingredients include natural hops from Germany and the Czech Republic and imported premium malt.
